Recovering Vegetarian: Steaks are awesome! Click it!
By Unknown Neva | Sep 21, 2008 | 2 ResponsesAfter seventeen years of vegetarianism I decided to become a carnivore. I lost my meat-virginity to a tablespoon of salmon at Luna, followed by filet mignon at Churchill’s Steakhouse in 2007, though after that I didn’t have meat again for a year. Last month I decided to try it again, by eating a 3 oz New York strip. I liked it, even though it sent me into a meat-induced coma.
This blog section will chronicle my ventures into discovering meat, and to become a full-fledged carnivore.

Nov 19 2008 4:33 pmI am on the bring of becoming a recovering vegetarian…I’ve been without meat (aside from fish) for 5 years. This Thanksgiving, I’ll go whole-hog, I mean whole-turkey back into it. I’m thinking I’ll just stick to farm raised birds for now. But man I’ve missed BBQ and jerk chicken so much!
I’m testing the waters with some chicken noodle soup from the Farmer’s Market.

Mar 05 2010 6:23 pmI am just stepping into this myself. I am really glad you’re writing about it. I don’t know if this has been answered elsewhere but why? I am having a hard time getting past the moral dillema of it all. Otherwise in terms or nutrition, the naturalness of it all, etc I am just fine.
