[...] off to a few great restaurants serving mix-grill. This time I even loved the chicken. Wonderful, amazing hummus — not the kind you get prepackaged from the US grocery stores. [...]

The service is wonderful and so is the food. We have tried most of their dishes and they are all wonderful. The breakfast is also wonderful on Sundays. You really must try their omelettes when they are on the menu..along with the banana sauce (almost like ketchup). This is one of our favorite restaurants in town.

I grew up with Chicken Adobo and Kusina's brings back my childhood memories. It is as authentic as you can get--I try making it like mom and it's never the same...maybe because mom never measured and neither do it. Just how much is "this much" soy? You adjust until it tastes right--that's real barrio cooking. I brought my "white-boy" friend for lunch at Kusina and he loved the flavor and can't wait to try the Pork version. Hey you can't go wrong with lip smacking tangy salty adobo broth.
